FurnSERVICE has released a new report based on its recent survey assessing the knowledge, adoption and readiness of EU furniture companies to implement circular business models and practices. The survey collected data from 46 companies across 7 European countries, providing an updated picture of how firms understand and approach circularity.

The report shows that awareness of circular principles is growing across the sector, although levels of knowledge and implementation differ significantly depending on region, company size and market orientation. By mapping these maturity levels and highlighting regional patterns, the report identifies where additional guidance, training and cooperation are most needed.

The findings also aim to help the furniture industry anticipate upcoming policy developments and align company practices with the evolving EU framework on sustainability, circular design and corporate responsibility. They will support the development of practical guidelines to help companies adopt circular practices and strengthen dialogue among social partners.
